Happy Friday, guys!
It's been awhile since I've been around but I'm back now and it sure feels good!
It's a bit late, but here are some pictures from our Halloween night:
Myself as Dorothy and Brian as the good ol' 'Banana of Oz' (the real kick is he doesn't even like bananas):
Somya as the lovely Cleopatra:
I even brought my stuffed 'Toto' to sit on my desk at work that day:
It was a freezing cold night so we stayed close to the nearest bar we could find and had a nice time swappin' some drinks and telling stories.
We went over to Julius' one night where he had built a little bar in his basement. He's a natural bar-tender!:
Last Sunday, I went over to Brian's aunt's house and they had a huge brunch. As somone had stated, it was "cholesterol city". But it was so worth it ;)
And now as you can imagine, we're starting to get ready for the Christmas season around here! The flurries have started, the decorations are up in the stores, music is starting to play on the radio -- the works. I've started to get a head start on my cards, too! I'll be posting how I do them when I get a chance; basically I just buy a bunch of cards from Dollarama and decorate the inside with a picture, some glitter, and I write a little message. It's a lot of work, but it's always rewarding for me in the end. It's the perfect time of year to show those special people in my life how much they mean!
I hope you all have a nice weekend! As Kevin would say from Home Alone 2: "Make sure to bundle up if you go outside. It's a little nippy!"
