Spreading The Love: Valentine's Day Decoration

Valentine's Day is less than a week away so naturally, we spruced our house up a bit with some decor (everything courtesy of Dollarama). I love it because the red and pink colours and hearts add such a beautiful splash of colour against the dullness that is winter outside.

Here's the center table in my bedroom!:

In my little palm plant, I added some faux heart-plants.

Even my nails are ready (the colour is Sally Hansen, 320 - Fuchsia Power) {mind my short, tiny nails :) }:

These red hearts on our front door look great against the white-wood background:

And a few things by our fireplace: some streamers, cut-outs of hearts and a cupid, a love-bug plush:

An old Beanie Babie (called Valentina), a candle holder and that cute, heart-shaped basket is normally filled up with chocolates and cinnamon hearts (soon!):

My mom hung a few extra hearts around the house too:

And for the month of February, I've also been using this sweet smelling hand cream from Bath and Body Works called Velvet Sugar:

I promise you - it smells delightful! (whatever 'delightful' might smell like!)

If you've been anything like me today on a cold, Monday, I hope you're warm and cozy now huddled under some blankets and a warm drink at bay :)
