I think Easter is such a lovely holiday to celebrate. The light, pastel colours are beautiful, it's usually not as intense as Christmas in terms of all the shopping, and it takes place in the Spring time (even though in Canada, it's mostly cold this time of year still). Even with the decoration, we don't put up as much and keep it low-key. Here are some of our Easter decor from the dollar store!:
My mom just bought this from the dollar store. She couldn't resist it when she saw it.
The front of our fireplace is kept fairly simple too, with a rabbit figurine in the center, 3 Beanie Babies on the left, and two Spring, scented candles from Bath and Body Works on the right ('Spring' and 'Lily Blossoms').
In our bathroom and front hallway:
The front doors (I swear, at night, that hanging rabbit actually looks kinda frightening!)
In my room, I have two dollar store wreaths hung on my door and a nice ceramic Easter basket with faux, sparkly eggs sitting insde:
A tye-dyed Beanie Baby bunny sitting on my TV:
My dresser has another plush Easter rabbit, a cute little faux plant and some decorative eggs inside - and mini eggs!
Some more Spring candles include 'Green Grass' and 'Garden Freesia' (from Bath and Body Works a few years back)
I hope everyone's having a nice Saturday and enjoying their weekend! :)
