I'd be lying to you guys (and myself) if I said I enjoyed working out. I don't. Lol, it's more of a chore and like a job, it's something I feel I have to do to stay healthy and maintain a figure. I enjoy doing physical activities though, like softball, bike-riding, and going for walks. But when it comes to my actual "workout routines" I do from home, they can be such a buzzkill for me to get into. Which is why I need a good, upbeat playlist to get me going sometimes! 2 Unlimited's Get Ready For This is one of my all-time favourite, pump-me-up tunes! There's the version shown down below with the lyrics, but you can also search up the remix version (which is longer, slightly faster, and no lyrics).
Girl Power (don't judge me! ;) lol)
I admit it: as much as I love the Beatles and oldies tunes to heart, girly pop-songs are such a guilty pleasure of mine (and personally, I think they make for better exercise songs). I love Hilary Duff's Dignity (Stranger, With Love, Dignity, Play With Fire), Ashlee Simpson's first album, Autobiography (La La makes for a great cardio session!) and I just got Lea Michele's Louder for my birthday, which is also doing the trick.
Here's a few more of my favourites:
♥ When I Grow Up (Garbage. I first heard this song from Adam Sandler's Big Daddy. Another fave of mine!) ♥ Dude Looks Like A Lady (Aerosmith) ♥ Make That Money (Robi Rob. From Night at the Roxbury soundtrack) ♥ Can't Wait To See You Again (Miley Cyrus) ♥ Walk Away (Kelly Clarkson) ♥ Pocket Full of Sunshine (Natasha Bedingfield) ♥ The Art Of Losing (American Hi-Fi) ♥ Shake It Off (Taylor Swift) ♥ Spice Up Your Life (Spice Girls)
The list could go on! There are a ton of fun tunes and favourites I have that get me going. What are some more suggestions? Let me know in the comments! :)
