Happy last official Summer Friday! It's sunny and warm, and I can hardly wait till 4 pm arrives to start up the weekend. Next week, I'll be getting up the Fall gear and be all about pumpkin spiced-this, pumpkin-that...and the works. :) Today is also the last of the Summer Wrap-Up Photos - only, I hardly took any of my own in this case so I included a bunch I found online. Hope you enjoy them just the same!
Last Saturday, a few of us went out to one of our favourite dance parties in the city: Shake, Rattle and Roll hosted at the bar Clinton's. It's one of the best Saturday night dance parties you could imagine, playing tons of memorable oldies that will definitely make you shake, rattle and roll all night long!
We've been going to this fun pub for a few years now and we cannot get enough of it. The front part of the bar hosts the seating and is designed to resemble a log cabin.
We always have such a blast on these Saturday nights that it's rare we take photos together (plus, it's super hard when you've got a drink in one hand and are too busy busting a move with your buddies!) I managed to capture a brief video towards the end of our night to Stevie Wonder's Uptight (Everything's Alright):
On their YouTube channel, Bangs and Blush put together a little promo video to give you an idea of what their Saturday nights are typically like:
Really looks like a great time, huh? :)
I was never into night clubs growing up, but still loved dancing and having a good time. When we discovered Shake, Rattle and Roll night at Clinton's, we felt we struck gold! It was music to my ears, with awesome 60s tunes, soul, and a bit of rock and roll - with lots of fun dancing!
