Last week, Erin from Sexy Cardi nominated me for the Liebster Award - thank you again, Erin! :) I love Erin's blog: she's a great writer, has beautiful photos, and is another fellow Canadian! Be sure to check out her blog when you get a chance!
I didn't get around to nominating other bloggers or coming up with my own questions. To be honest, I've been real busy with job searching and applications! If you wanna see a complete set of rules for the Liebster Award, click here. Otherwise, I just did this for fun :) And feel free to do the same!
Erin's Questions (and my answers):
What is your favourite book? It's so hard for me to pick just one but I'm gonna say Cynthia Lennon's John. I can read this book over and over again (I have!)
Florida, spring 2011
Name three of your dream destinations. Florida, California, England.
What is one thing you're looking forward to in the upcoming season? Everything pumpkin and all the cozy feelings that come with Fall! It's one of my more favourite seasons, and I pretty much love everything about it.
Do you have a blog post you're particularly proud of? Last Christmas, I wrote a random post on how I prep for the holidays. I did it completely on a whim, but I thought it turned out really good in the end!
Is there any one type of clothing you buy and collect a lot of? For example, socks, striped t-shirts, flip flops, etc. I'm always on the look out for long, warm sweaters (I live in Canada, after all!) and tunic-type tops, which are my favourite.
When it comes to posting photos, do you need them all to be perfect in order to post them? Or can you deal with the occasional imperfect photo once in awhile? The camera on my current phone (an Android, HTC Desire 601) isn't very good to begin with, particularly night time photos. So I really have no choice but to deal with the occasional imperfect photo. I can't wait till my contract's up in the spring and I can get a new phone!
If you could use only one makeup product for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Cover up, because unfortunately I don't have very good skin!
Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Coffee all the way! :) Is there a food that you don't don't like but wish you did? Maybe cooked cauliflower...or even pierogis! For some reason, I'm not the biggest fan of them, so when we have them for dinner, I usually have to find something else to supplement.
Do you enjoy decorating for holidays and seasons? Or do you hate doing it? Um - I love it!! I love any excuse to decorate! I get so into it and go all out, and I love seeing how other people decorate their home as well (See more under the Seasonal Décor tab).
