Happy Saturday!: Decorating Up the Porch & Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend!

Yesterday was such a long day with the baseball game on and recovering from another loss that I didn't get around to doing a Happy Friday post! So right now, I'll be doing a quick Happy Saturday post!

For Canadians, our Thanksgiving is this weekend and I can't wait! The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and I can't wait to stuff my face with mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. For anyone, it's such a "warm" and cozy holiday.

This week, my mom finally got around to decorating up the porch for Fall time. Coming home from work with the chilly air and seeing this, really put me in a more Thanksgiving-y mood!

On our front door hangs some festive scarecrows.

This one is my favourite! Just from our local dollar store.

We took my old Fall wreath from last year and decided to hang it from the mailbox this year.

Fall mums are my absolute favourite! They brighten up a front porch so much and come in so many different colours. My mom bought this white and yellow one for herself.

And as part of her birthday this week, we gave her these gorgeous violet-coloured ones.

She even hung a small scarecrow wreath over the garage. It's clear to see where I got my flair for decorating from.

Like I wrote for last year, there's so many things I look forward to on Thanksgiving:

The yummy food!

Pumpkin pie.

Watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

The O.C. Thanksgiving episodes.

Friends Thanksgiving episodes (my favourites!)

Having some more dessert and coffee after dinner.

And spending some time with family and friends!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
