Art With Mira

Over the weekend, my mom and I stopped at a little craft and bake show going on at one of our local churches.

Her friend and co-worker, Mira has a love for art and had a beautiful little table on display that day.

This type of artwork is called Paverpool. It's made from various materials such as wool, cotton or even wood- and it's completely waterproof so you can add your creations outdoors. To make these figurines, Mira explained that after using some wire for the base and aluminium foil for body, the Paverpool material is then used to cover up and sustain shape.

You can use Paverpool for just about anything, like these simple ornaments on a Christmas tree.

Or this little blue jay! Perfect after a great baseball season.
