Happy New Year, everybody! And welcome to the new - but still same side of my blogging journey. :) For those who have stuck by since the earlier days - thank you for continuing to be a loyal reader as I've consistently changed the names of my blog titles ;) It seems I have some kind of blogging OCD situation going on. And for those who are newcomers - welcome!!
I took some time off from blogging over the Christmas break to relax and join in all the holiday fun; and there was a lot going on. I'll try and give you a bit of a recap in the next little bit!
I took the plunge and made the bold move to import everything from my previous blog to this new, but still the same, one. I was ready for a new name and a completely different location for the blog, and I'm so happy how everything's turned out so far (A big thank you to the Wordpress Happiness Engineers who have consistently helped me throughout all this!) There's still a few hiccups and broken links you may notice but I am definitely working on getting all those in order!
Like a lot of you I'm sure, I've also been struggling a bit getting back into the regular groove after all the holiday celebrations. Every night this week, I've come home completely wiped out! With the blog finally up and running now, I've gotta say, it's definitely given me some motivation to get back into the swing of things (coffee helps, too).
Brian and I have also been spending a lot of time at my parents' lake shore house any chance we can, and with work starting again, we've been using our weekends to cook there, take walks by the lake and catch up on lots of dvds. It's the perfect getaway, only there's currently no internet access, so things like blog updates and pretty much everything from the outside social media world are very limited. We both agreed though that sometimes, a bit of a break from the internet can do wonders to help calm the mind :)
And now I'm back! And I'm so happy to be a part of the blogging world once again. I have missed it so and look forward to sharing posts and catching up with other fellow bloggers. I hope you will find mine one that is a very inviting and definitely, a cozy space :)
