Happy Sunday and mid-ish November! With the temperatures slowly dropping here, winds picking up, and the fallen leaves making trees look bare, we are officially in that transition mode: the one I like to refer to as 'Woodsy November.' Pinecones, dry leaves, bare branches, and the starting of frost on the windows. Last year, I swapped out some pumpkins in my bedroom for pinecones and the yellow flowers for brown ones. I've yet to get to it this year (maybe in a few days or so?) and in the meantime, I've actually been doing a few things to start prepping for the holidays (getting cards ready, picking up a few small gifts here and there). In my eyes, it's never too early to start preparing for the holidays (putting up lights and decoration...okay, that's another story..) Before jumping a little ahead of myself, I wanted to share these photos of beautiful Autumn sights I've managed to capture in the last few weeks. In just a few days, most of these trees are looking quite empty now without all the coloured leaves (you know what that means - get ready to bundle up, and the holidays are just around the corner!)
Now when you look outside, you'll see trees more looking like this:
Hopefully in the next little bit, I can add a few pinecones here and there before getting ready to put up those Christmas decorations! Speaking of which - has anyone started preparing for the holidays??
