Here's a yummy, simple recipe Brian made for dinner the other night: homemade seafood pasta! It's basically just regular pasta with a kick of some seafood flavours and ingredients of your choice.
- Satue with olive oil
- Seafood of your choice: we used shrimp, calamari and basa fish
- Flavours like salt, pepper, oregano and fresh basil
- Pasta - of course! - of your choice. We used rigatoni
Peel the skin off of the shrimp, then wash it with the calamari and basa fish in a bowl.
Once done, start cooking the seafood for about 10-12 minutes (Brian tells me seafood cooks pretty quickly). You can also start boiling the pasta of your choice and begin chopping up the onions, garlic and tomatoes to be added later on.
Once the seafood has been cooked for a bit, you can add all the toppings and extra flavours: chopped onions and tomatoes, satue with olive oil, oregano, fresh basil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and garlic.
After that, you just pour the seafood and mix it around with the pasta.
Let it cool and enjoy your very yummy and healthy, homemade seafood pasta!
