Happy Friday, folks! :D
I've always found enjoyment decorating my new agenda or calendar whenever a new year has started. The other day shortly after I bought my new agenda for 2015, I took some time to write out important dates approaching, birthdays, and of course, holidays :) With this, I included a simple little doodle at the side to help make the day that much more festive (everything courtesy of Google Images).
This Sunday are the Golden Globes so:
The Grammys on Sunday, February 8th:
The Oscars! (on Sunday, February 22nd):
St. Patrick's Day and the first official day of Spring:
I'm not overly religious, but I always like to keep track of things. Here's Palm Sunday:
Good Friday and Easter:
Even though Coachella takes place in the States, I still wanted to remember it so I could be prepared to see all the neat photos and updates to come. This year, it actually takes place on two weekends: April 11th - 13th and April 18th - 20.
My birthday (4/20, you got it).
Father's Day and the first day of Summer (Sunday, June 21st):
Last day of school (always a nice memory!)
The Labour Day Long Weekend and the first day of school (not always a great day...):
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September! (this year it's set to run from Thursday, September 10th through Sunday, September 20th).
The first day of Autumn: Wednesday, September 23rd.
Canadian Thanksgiving (Monday, October 12th):
Halloween (and Daylight Savings):
The first official day of Winter (Monday, December 21).
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day:
New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!
There's still a few more dates I have to jot down, and I always end up adding more as time goes on. I think it spices up the agenda so nicely and it actually makes me feel that much more excited for the upcoming new season or holiday.
Be sure to check out more of my art under the newly-renamed Arts tab: Art & Doodles.
I hope everybody has a wonderful Friday and a nice, relaxing weekend! :)
