Happy Friday and Good Friday! It feels so nice to have a long weekend again. Today I spent the morning with Brian and in the afternoon, I headed over to my Nonna's house where we continued our Good Friday tradition of dying Easter eggs.
We have been colouring eggs together every Good Friday for as long as I can remember. It's a lovely tradition that I'm happy we've been able to keep up. To dye the eggs, my Nonna just buys a basic dollar store Easter egg kit. It comes with coloured "pills" that dissolve when you add vinegar and warm water to it. You let the eggs sit for a bit while turning them over and spooning them with dye every so often.
They turned out great! They'll look beautiful placed in a basket come Easter morning.
Selfie-time with Nonna! (I love seeing her get into these fun, modern-day tactics!)
What are some of your Easter traditions? I'd love to hear!
I hope everyone has a nice Easter weekend! :)
