Yesterday was officially the first day of summer. It has finally arrived! As the countdown for the end of work continues, the anticipation of summer fun begins. I'm hoping to be able to do a few of these things (or maybe all 5!) while staying cool in the midst of those sauna-like days.
For as long as I can remember, my Nonna has always picked flowers. She brought these beauties over on Sunday as we celebrated Father's Day.
My "shabby table" continues to be one of my favourite pieces of furniture in my bedroom. It sits in the centre of the room, so naturally I like to display some of my favourite current "centrepieces." I framed one of my favourite photos of my grandpa and I, and for kicks, kept an old tie-dye Beanie Baby seated just at the side.
In my "How I Stay Cozy" post, I mentioned how an aroma diffuser would be a great alternative to scented candles. When I picked up the yoga-frog, I also found this scented diffuser right beside it.
It came with a 'Hawaiian Mist' liquid scent, that has added a nice calming feel to the room (which these days is essential!) Next run to Walmart, and I'll make sure to change it up with a fresh new flavour.
I love the longer days of light and warm evenings. If I'm not out taking a walk or running a few errands, you can find me curled up with my fan going and watching the baseball game.
And of course, a little "gossip" never hurt anyone either ;) A long time fan of The Hills and Paul McCartney on the cover goes without saying.
